COUNTRY TRADERS
Jamaica produces about 4,000,000 lbs of coffee beans each year, two thirds of which is Blue Mountain coffee. Almost 90% of Jamaica's coffee exports go to Japan so the quantity otherwise available is quite small. Unfortunately it has a way of multiplying after it leaves Jamaica, indicating that it is sometimes mixed with other lesser coffees. When you buy Country Traders coffee you are assured of getting 100% Jamaican coffee because that is the only coffee we handle. Country Traders has been marketing Jamaican coffee for the past sixteen years, and in 1994 established it's own roasterie allowing them to roast Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee at origin. Country Traders is one of only five Jamaican roasters recognized and licensed by the Jamaican Coffee Industry Board. As a family run business Country Traders is aware that their success depends entirely upon maintaining our customers' confidence, so they pay close attention to your blue mountain coffee every step of the way, through purchasing, cupping, roasting, packaging and delivery. Country Traders aims to to put their coffee into your hands within two weeks of its roasting date. They roast only 12 kilograms (26 lbs.) of gourmet coffee beans at a time and Vacuum-pack in high-quality foil bags with one-way valves. |
